1.Method and Scope of Authorization
To facilitate the use of information and materials on this website by all walks of life, all the information and materials published on the global information website of the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection, M.O.E.A are subject to the scope of copyright protection, and are available for public use through re-authorization in a free and non-exclusive manner. Users may develop various types of products or service (hereinafter referred to as “value-added derivatives”) through reproduction, alteration, editing, public transmission or other methods of use. This authorization will not be revoked thereafter. Users are also not required to obtain authorization from the Authority in writing or through other methods. However, the source shall be indicated when using such information.
2.Instructions on Related Matters
(1)The scope of authorization is only subject to the scope of copyright protection, and is not applicable to other intellectual property rights, including but not limited to patents, trademarks and agency logos.
(2)Whether the personal information disclosed by the party himself/herself or in accordance with the law may be collected, processed and used, the user must personally comply with the relevant provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act, and shall plan and implement the corresponding measures required by the law.
(3)Some audio-visuals, images, musical scores, specialist project papers or other works are subject to special consent by the authorities before they can be used.
3.It should be noted that infringement of third party’s moral rights (including right of paternity and prohibition of improper change) is prohibited.
4.The use of information and materials provided by this authorization may not maliciously change other related information. If the information displayed after use is inconsistent with the original information and materials, users must assume civil and criminal liabilities.
5.The authorization of this website does not grant the user permission to recommend, accept or agree to value-added derivatives on behalf of the Authority.
