Withdrawal of cylinder for liquefied petroleum gas from the regulatory inspection product list

Cylinders classified as C.C.C. Code 7311. [Cylinder, iron or steel, for liquefied petroleum gas (inspection scope: only cylinder which capacity is less than five hundred litre, and nothing has been filled)] will be withdrawn from the regulatory inspection product list and will no longer require inspection under the Commodity Inspection Act before they are placed on the market.

This measure will be effective on March 1, 2005 and applies to both products domestically manufactured and imported. However, the product will be covered by the Public Hazardous Substances & Flammable Pressurized Gases Establishment Standards & Safety Control Procedures, regulated by the National Fire Agency, Ministry of Interior.
