Responsibilities of Individual Section or Office
First Section
Inspection of imported and domestically manufactured electronic products, inspection of electron magnetic compatibility, CNS Mark certification, market sampling inspection of market surveillance, commissioned testing services, contracted inspection, registration of production certification for electrical/electronic products and implementation of the volunteers program for monitoring consumer goods.

Second Section
Inspection of imported mechanical commodities, CNS Mark certification, commissioned testing and contracted inspection, inspection of wash basins, registration of product certification and type approval for mechanical products, market surveillance of inspected commodities, and inspection of purchased products from the market.

Third Section
Inspection of imported and domestically manufactured chemical products, (including children toys, edible oil, plastic pipes, fire-resistant mate-rials, cements, fire-extinguisher and petroleum related products), commissioned testing services (such as fertilizers, pulps, fibers and other miscellaneous products), inspection of CNS Mark products, assessments of ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.

Fourth Section
Inspection of imported agricultural products, fishery products and processed foods, provision of contracted inspection and testing services for agricul-tural products, fishery products and processed foods, and promotion of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system for fishery factories and pelagic fishing boats.
